Buying a high-voltage power supply (buy in Russia) that fully meets the requirements of the equipment being designed is often a difficult task for engineers, developers and physicists who do not have much experience in power electronics. This problem became especially acute after the introduction of economic sanctions against Russia, for the reason that the main suppliers of high-quality high-voltage equipment for many years were American (Spellman, Ultravolt, AdvancedEnergy) and Japanese companies (Matsusada, Hamamatsu).
In this series of articles, the authors set the task of acquainting Russian equipment manufacturers with high-voltage power supplies, high-voltage solid-state switches and high-voltage pulse generators produced by the domestic company PARAMERUS LLC, to help navigate this science-intensive and high-tech industry of Power Electronics.

Ensuring high-quality power supply in the 21st century is a basic task in the development and production of almost any equipment, this issue is especially acute for instrument makers of analytical, testing, radar equipment, as well as optical systems that use high-voltage power supplies.

In 2019, PARAMERUS LLC was registered in the Russian Federation, which set itself an ambitious goal - within 5 years to eliminate the misunderstanding that Russian developers depend on high-voltage power supplies of foreign production and provide the domestic market with high-voltage power supplies that will, at least no worse than Western counterparts, both in terms of technical characteristics and in terms of industrial performance. All developed products were designed taking into account the requirements of the EU, US and China markets, and the products are positioned not only as import-substitution-oriented, but primarily as export-oriented.
As of August 2022, PARAMERUS LLC has mastered and launched into industrial production high-voltage power supplies with power from 0.5 W to 4 kW, voltage from 125 V to 60 kV.
High-voltage power supplies manufactured by PARAMERUS can be conditionally divided into low-power/small-sized, intended for mounting on a frame or soldering on a printed circuit board, with 12V or 24V input power, and stationary, designed for installation in a server rack or on a laboratory table, with power from the mains 220V or 380V.

HVHP is a series of high-voltage power supplies with a capacity of 65W, 125W and 250W, voltage from 125V to 30kV. The units in the standard version have an output ripple of less than 1% and can be used both to form a stable high voltage DC and to work on an impulse load.
